Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque
The mosque was designed by an Italian architect and is built inside an artificial lagoon. The grounds also include fountains, gardens, and even a long bridge that connects the mosque to part of Bandar's water village.
Nearly all the materials used to build the mosque were brought in from outside Brunei: the marble is from Italy, the granite from Shanghai, the crystal chandeliers from England, and the carpets from Saudi Arabia.

Kampung Ayer is the name of Bandar's water village. All of the homes and shops are built on stilts that are embedded in the river.
